Food Photography: Beans

Breakfast Beans, aka Huevos Rancheros, by Steinberg Imagery.
Missing my Mexican food excursions, I am left with attempting my own south-of-the-border San Francisco Bay Area food renditions. Recently, I was feeling for some Ranchos Huevos. Warmed-up a couple of flour tortillas, home-made pinto beans (Thanks Pablo and Michael), fresh organic tomatoes (local market), cheddar cheese, home grown organic cilantro and a couple of over-easy fried eggs. “VIOLA!” I recreated my one of my favorite Mexican breakfast dishes topped with my brother’s homemade “XXX” salsa. So before I topped the dish with an extra hearty tortilla, I made an image of the dish. Thus, beginning my food photography series of home dishes and expanding my food photography archive.
