Safe at home! 8.1 SFPBL final game of the season brought together two of the best teams, only a half game separated the two teams. Stuart Hall beat Ephipany 8-7 with just a couple less errors at Crocker Amazon.
8.1 SFPBL final game of the season brought together two of the best teams, only a half game separated them. Stuart Hall (6-0) beat Ephipany (6-1) 8-7 with just a couple less errors at Crocker Amazon. These two teams will most likely meet again for the championship game as the rest of the division lurks in the cellar with losing records. Or maybe they will get the bats going as well as Ephiphany and Stuart Hall.
The first inning of action proved delightful as Ephiphany jumped to a commanding 2-0 lead with rapid succession of hits off Stuart Hall’s starting pitcher. Division leader Stuart Hall utilized it’s composure to rally back and eventually take the lead of the game. Ephiphany scored a couple of runs in the last inning only to fall short by a run.
