2011 CYO 8-2 Boys Soccer: St. Charles defeats Stuart Hall
During the first half, St. Charles #20 failed to finish a break-away opportunity and reacts accordingly to the moment...shocked in disbelief.
A well played match during the first half had most believing this was going down to the wire but St. Charles erupted for many goals as the roar dulled from the Stuart Hall Lions. Stuart Hall lacked substitutes as many players were off visiting High School campuses.
Regardless, St. Charles teamwork and passing abilities left Stuart Hall vulnerable to many counter attacks.
Stuart Hall's starting goalkeeper charged quickly to stop a break-away but fell short as the deft striker placed the ball just out of the reach. The keeper could only look back at the slow roller as it trickled into the back of the net.
