2010 AAA Playoffs: Lowell bests O’Connell 1-0

In a lack luster game of kickball, Lowell finally broke O’Connell’s stoic defense or should I say enjoyed the spoils of the O’Connell goalkeeper’s second half miscue of a slow roller that barely found its way into the back of the net. But that “soft” goal stirred the hornet’s nest as Lowell upped the pressure that was an otherwise stifling Boilmaker defense.

Lowell’s goalkeeper “Bagels” touched the ball a couple of times and anticipates a much livelier opponent in Balboa Buccaneers. Lowell was most dangerous when they played the ball down the right flank to Max Pollard, whom connected passes and thanks his defense for their hard team play.

AAA Finals between Balboa Buccaneers and Lowell Cardinals will be held at Boxer Stadium on Saturday afternoon November 6, 2010 at 1 o’clock.
